The Foundation is leading two statewide initiatives to attract philanthropic support for some of the biggest challenges facing public schools in Wisconsin.
We are piloting a statewide effort to establish a clear funding path to help philanthropic organizations and individuals provide financial support of school-based mental health for K-12 students.
For more details on our school-based mental health initiative view our white paper.
We have launched a pilot project to test and refine a statewide funding model to attract, align, and sustain financial support from other private funders to help many rural and low-income pre-K-12 student households connect to the internet throughout Wisconsin where access and/or affordability may be a barrier.

In it’s 7th year, 11 finalists from submissions across all of Wisconsin public schools were chosen as finalists in the WEA Member Benefits Foundation’s annual student art contest. One finalist is selected to receive the “Loeymae Lange Memorial Best in Class” award. This years theme was “Life is full of magical moments.” Students could submit pieces of art that focus on capturing an uplifting moment. Through art, the Foundation is celebrating what makes life’s moments so magical.
